Britney Rohner is an Artist Diploma Candidate. She has been singing in the MCO Arizona Grand Chorus since it started in 2009. From that first rehearsal, she felt “at home,” as the MCO mission is one with which she completely resonates. She has loved being a part of an organization that focuses on excellence in quality sacred and classical music with Christ-centered values.
Britney earned her bachelor of music degree at Northern Arizona University, where she studied voice, piano, and choral education, and she also holds a master’s degree in secondary education. She has enjoyed various teaching positions throughout her career, including high school choir director, accompanist, and vocal coach, as well as teaching piano and general music classes to children, training music teachers, and directing or accompanying various choirs of all ages for over 20 years.
Britney has served as Grand Chorus Manager for MCO Arizona from 2014 to 2021, as Grand Chorus Tour Manager for MCO from 2016 to 2019, and as Central Grand Chorus Manager from 2021–present. She also serves as a Youth Choirs Conductor’s Assistant in MCO Arizona, where she has the unique opportunity to work with the amazing adults and youth participants of MCO. She feels incredibly blessed to help bring light into their world in a way that only music can and to work with a brilliant conducting team and leadership staff from whom she learns so much.
Britney and her husband Justin have four children and live in Queen Creek, Arizona, where they own an edible landscaping company and manage a nonprofit edible botanical garden.
