With over 20 years of experience in various leadership roles, Julie Porter is a seasoned professional with diverse skill sets in project management, content creation, video editing, and rights/royalty management. She is married to Damon Porter, and they, along with their five children, have had a passion for the organization since its early days. As the older sister of the founders, Brandon Stewart and Brett Stewart, Julie began as head librarian of the newly formed Arizona location in 2008. She ultimately grew into the role of Librarians Chair for the entire organization, managing an expanding team of 30 choir and orchestra librarians across many states, before transitioning to other key positions within the organization.
Julie has drawn on the skills gained during her BA degree in English from Brigham Young University, as well as her early career in business, throughout her career with Millennial® Music. As the current Rights & Royalties Manager for Millennial® Music Publishing, she contributes to the design and content creation of millennialmusicpublishing.com, and oversees the management of rights, royalties, rentals, licensing agreements, and publishing needs for the company and its subsidiary, Millennial® Choirs & Orchestras.
In addition, Julie has more recently honed her skills as an Assistant Video Editor with MCO®. She plays an instrumental role in editing both promotional and full-length music videos as part of that team. Julie’s passion for the mission and purpose of Millennial® Choirs & Orchestras is evident in her work, and compels her to continue finding ways to spread its goodness throughout the world.
