Laura Cope

Director of Philanthropy

Laura Cope is passionate about forging meaningful connections and building friendships. As a songwriter and oil painter, she dreams of a world where life itself is a musical, a love she attributes to her mother, a talented singer, and her grandmother, who served as the secretary of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir for 20 years and sang in the choir for 30 years. During Laura’s time as a missionary, her grandmother sent her every Tabernacle Choir CD available, which she shared as part of her missionary work, spreading the beauty of the choir’s music.

Today, Laura naturally extends this tradition by sharing the music of Millennial Choirs and Orchestras, believing in the unique power of music to touch hearts. Music is deeply woven into her family’s life. Laura, her husband, and their six children all love to sing. She and her husband sang together in high school madrigal choir and college chamber choir, and their children have inherited this musical passion, making Millennial Choirs and Orchestras an integral part of their family culture for many years.

Beyond her musical endeavors, Laura and her husband co-own a cosmetic dermatology clinic in Highland, Utah. Laura cherishes her involvement with MCO, relishing the opportunity to connect with so many wonderful and deeply good people.
