Laura’s path to MCO began in 2017 when she attended MCO’s Salt Lake City tour and was immediately captivated. She joined MCO Idaho as a soprano in 2018. Since 2022, she has taken on the roles of Grand Chorus Manager and rehearsal accompanist.
Music has been her life-long passion. She studied violin, piano, and voice from a young age, and started accompanying choirs at the age of 16. Her musical journey has seen her collaborate with ensembles such as the BYU Women’s Chorus and the Sugar Hill LDS Choir in Atlanta, Georgia.
She has instilled a love of music in her four children and loves to see other youth become involved as well. Laura taught piano for years and currently works as the accompanist for the Skyview High School choral program. She graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor’s degree in Family Finance. She and her husband Michael own a home inspection company in the Treasure Valley.
